Local cheese shop, Kalona Creamery, expands their cheese line.

Bacon Ranch Cheddar and Salsa Cheddar Cheese Curds hit the shelves at Kalona Creamery Shop & Deli for the first time on March 15, 2019. These flavored curds accompany their famous, house-made White Cheddar Cheese Curds. The Kalona Creamery facility, formerly known as the Kalona Cheese Factory, has a long history of producing cheese. Kalona Creamery purchased the facility in 2015 and started making curds in 2018, marking the first time that cheese has been made at this facility since Twin County Dairy closed its doors in 2014.

“We are thrilled to expand our selection of cheese curds at Kalona Creamery,” said Jennifer Jacobs, store manager. “People come from all over to get our fresh, squeaky cheese. Customers are loving our new, savory flavors!”
