Here at Kalona Creamery, we make a lot of cheese. Now you can too! Kalona Creamery is proud to announce that Kalona SuperNatural Fresh Cheesemaking Kits are now available! These cheese kits include: instructions, a fine cheesecloth, thermometer, rennet, citric acid, and cheese salt. All you need is Kalona SuperNatural organic whole milk or whipping cream (both available in our shop)! Making cheese with these kits is so easy and fun for people of all ages. Ricotta & Burrata Fresh Cheese Kit

Ricotta, a creamy and mild cheese, has a texture that is soft and firm, but not solid. Commonly enjoyed in lasagna, ricotta can also be used in other savory recipes as well as sweets! These might include cannoli, dense cheesecakes, or stuffed pasta.

Burrata, the Italian word for butter, is similar to fresh mozzarella but even creamier and richer. As you can see from the image on the box, it’s a cheese pouch. That pouch is a soft cheese enclosing small creamy curds. Serve it fresh, with grilled bread, atop roasted veggies or tossed in pasta.
